Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson
This is the original book and it's a lot of fun! Harold decides to go on an adventure until he decides he's tired but can't find his window. This would be a great book for beginning readers and has fun pictures. We like Harold because Monkey looks just like him (lack of hair and all)! This is a must read! Seriously-go get it now!

Harold and the Purple Crayon: Dinosaur Days
Harold wanted so badly to ride on the back of a dinosaur so he decides to find out what it would be like with the help of his purple crayon. He meets all sorts of dinosaurs and helps them with odd problems. It was a fun book. The pictures were really fun.

Harold's ABCs
This book goes through the alphabet and tells a story. The pictures have the letter in them which makes it really fun. I want to get this book so I can teach Monkey the alphabet.
