Watched Baby Signing Time volume 3 (A new day-weather, day, etc)
We also watched Signing Time volume 6 My Favorite Things because it showed the color signs and fruits and veggies and movements (I needed a refresher!)

Color walk. We went to the dollar store and it's fairly close so we went on a color walk. DS enjoyed the green grass being pointed out and thought the red fire hydrant was hillarious. He thought a white flower (dandelion) was cool and wanted to look at it for a while. It was fun finding colors to point out to him. I would name colors as he would look at something. He noticed when the grass stopped and looked at me waiting for me to name the color.

We went to the baby gym today and Monkey enjoyed the balls. He played with the balls in a ball pit and the big balls (exercise/birth balls). He had fun bouncing them. He also learned how to bounce on his hands and knees on a trampoline.

We might finger paint tomorrow since it kept getting put off.

Wednesday Tot School: BUSY day

Books read:
Alphatales Bubble Bear book
Arthur Meets the President (I love Arthur books and we checked it out from the library-nothing to do with our theme but a fun book anyways)
The Indoor Noisy Book by Margaret Wise Brown (also not related also checked out from the library but we LOVED this book-Monkey repeated every sound in it)

Watched Baby Signing Time Volume 2 (hat, shoes, socks, jacket, please, thank you, sorry, hurt, etc)

We went to library story time and enjoyed learning about chickens and the letter C. I got a handout from them and checked out some chicken books for our animal theme next week (we have a farm theme in the future). We also went to the bookstore (Barnes and Noble) today and found some really cool classic books like The Jungle Book and a big book of Harold adventures (an I Can Read book-level 1-there are 4 in there) and a book of Biscuit stories (5 of them). The two I Can Read books were under $8 which is great considering the paperback ones are $4 EACH!

Watched volume 1 of Baby Signing Time (pets, family, snacks/food/drinks, more, diaper dance/potty). Monkey LOVES to dance to the "Diaper Dance".

Monkey liked looking at the rainbows of colors in the books and flipping through to look at them over and over. He started saying "blue" but doesn't recognize what color it is yet.
